A 4-piece Rock & Roll band hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Palominos self-titled debut effort contains eight original tracks recorded over a 7-day period at Sound of Music Studios (David Lowery of Cracker's Studio) in their hometown. The album was engineered, produced, and mixed by Al Weatherhead, who has worked with bands such as Sparklehorse, Hotel Lights, Denali, and Jason Molina (Magnolia Electric Company/ Songs: Ohia).
